Get answers to common questions about Arms (Lower) Waxing.
Results usually last three to six weeks depending on your hair growth cycle, hormones, and aftercare. Regular waxing can extend time between appointments by weakening follicles and promoting finer regrowth over several sessions.
No — waxing removes hair from the root and does not thicken hair. With repeated waxing, hair typically regrows finer and sparser. Any perceived coarseness is temporary and often due to stubble appearance as hair grows back.
Make sure hair is about a quarter-inch long. Exfoliate gently 24 to 48 hours before, avoid lotions or oils on service day, and inform your technician about medications or skin sensitivities.
Some discomfort is normal, especially on initial visits. Our trained staff uses temperature-controlled wax, quick technique, and calming aftercare to minimize pain. Breathing, topical numbing on request, and cooling gels help reduce sensitivity.
Avoid waxing over active sunburn, rashes, or open wounds. For sensitive skin we perform patch tests and use gentler wax formulas. Contact us beforehand so we can advise and adjust your service safely.
Avoid hot baths, intense exercise, saunas, and sun exposure for 24–48 hours. Apply gentle moisturizers and soothing gels, wear loose clothing, and exfoliate after 48 hours to prevent ingrown hairs and maintain smooth results.
