Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Lower Leg Waxing.

Most clients enjoy smooth lower legs for three to six weeks, depending on individual hair growth cycles and aftercare. Scheduling regular appointments helps maintain results and can gradually extend time between waxing sessions.

Some discomfort is normal, especially first-time waxing, but our trained technicians use fast techniques and soothing products to minimize pain. Exfoliate beforehand, avoid caffeine, and take over-the-counter pain relief if needed to reduce sensitivity.

Ensure hair is about a quarter-inch long, clean and free of lotions. Exfoliate a day or two before to prevent ingrown hairs, and avoid sun exposure or tanning immediately before your appointment for best results.

Inform your technician of any sensitivities, medications, or conditions. We may perform a patch test or recommend alternative hair removal if rosacea, open wounds, or certain topical treatments are present to ensure safety and optimal results.

Avoid hot baths, intense exercise, and sun exposure for 24 to 48 hours. Apply soothing aloe or recommended lotion, exfoliate gently after 48 to 72 hours, and wear loose clothing to reduce irritation and promote healing.

Typically every three to six weeks depending on hair growth and personal preference. Regular waxing can lengthen intervals as hair becomes finer; your technician will advise a schedule tailored to your regrowth pattern and desired maintenance.
