What deposit color means
Deposit-only all over color at Sasha Salon means we place a single, uniform tone across the hair by adding pigment without lifting natural levels. This approach is suited to toning, enriching an existing shade, or going a bit darker. It changes surface color and tone, not the underlying natural level.
Because this is a deposit service, it will not lighten hair. If you want multi-tone effects or sections that require a second shade, we offer a $25 add-on for an additional color. Your stylist will advise whether the deposit-only approach meets your goal or if another service is needed.
What happens during your appointment
Appointments begin with a short consultation to confirm the target shade and placement. The All Over Color service is scheduled for 30 MINUTES, during which the deposit formula is applied across the hair and allowed to process. If you need cutting, lightening, or styling beyond the color, those are booked separately and require additional time.
Sasha Salon's Harvard Square location makes this a convenient, efficient option for students, staff, and commuters. Plan for the 30 MINUTES color slot and, if combining services, reserve a longer appointment. The stylist will explain expected tone results and whether an add-on or follow-up visit is recommended.
Choosing shade for Cambridge hair
Shade choice interacts with local factors like seasonal sun exposure and daily routines. New England weather and time spent outdoors can affect perceived brightness and fade, so lighter or warmer tones may appear different in summer sunlight versus winter indoor lighting. Discuss your lifestyle with your stylist to select an appropriately low-maintenance tone.
Decisions about shade should also consider your current color history and the deposit-only constraint: you can darken, tone, or refresh, but not lift natural pigment. Pricing starts at $165 and a second applied shade is available for a $25 add-on; your stylist will evaluate hair condition and recommend the best plan.
